accessories made in the Edinburgh hand-weaving studio.

tweeds and tartans.

The Role
The successful candidate will be a key member of our team with the key role of working on the hand-weaving of the Signature range seeing through the full production process from fibre to end product.

The role will involve working with Araminta when international tourists visit the studio for exclusive behind the scene tours and using these visits to create and populate a market information system designed to inform the business on the potential of various international markets.

Responsibilities will be to:
– Hand-weave and finish the Signature products to Araminta’s design specifications.
– Undertake market and customer research into visitors to the studio.
– Create a market information system and populate it with intelligence gathered from international customers.
– Provide quarterly research reports identifying key trends and market. information to support the international sales strategy.
– Speak to customers about the products and brand.
– Develop video content of the weaving process.
– Work as part of the team as it grows and develops the business

Requirements: 
The ideal candidate should
– Have graduated at degree level in the past four years- this does not need to 
be a weave degree, but the candidate must be fully trained in Hand- 
weaving.
– Have commercial weave industry experience.
– Have excellent attention to detail and quality.
– Be looking for a long-term role and have interest in contributing to the 
growth and development of a small creative business
– Have good verbal and written communication skills
– Be a good communicator and an enthusiastic team member who can also 
work autonomously within their own area of responsibility
– Well organised and able to manage their own work load.
– Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards supporting all areas of work within 
the organisation

After the first year there is the opportunity to continue working with Araminta Campbell in weaver training, production management and design assistance.
